Subject: Spreading urea over the top of 18inch tall corn.

Marion,ks

I have about 30 acres of 12-18inch  tall yellow corn where it was wet . I have no way to sidedress it.  Would spreading  a 100 units of urea injure the corn . I can get a dry spreader on a rowgator down the rows its dry enough for that no rain forecast for a 5 days. I am concerned about getting fertilizer down in the whorl of the corn plant and injuring it.  What are your thoughts on the subject?
