Your "PP" areas in your fields must look different than ours. In most cases, you can not see ours from the road.

Can you elaborate why it would be a "cluster wreck", whatever that is? Seems to me an adjuster could arrive at your field....anywhere. Take the drone out of the case, fly a 160A. field and TAKE PHOTOS, replace the drone, and be gone in 20 minutes. Photos will be analyzed later and collaborated with farm operator, then will be kept for proof.

If companies are not taking advantage of this, they are truly missing the boat. Actually, if the adjuster can't fly the drone, the company could afford to send summer interns along that could, and do it quickly and economically. Also, it doesn't matter if the field is bone-dry, or if it's just minutes after a 2" rain. It won't bother the drone. Insects, heat, and other discomforts don't affect them either.

The only hangups could be farm proximity to airports (or air traffic), windmills, or restricted areas. But, some of those can be handled with a phone call if necessary.

It is certainly not that easy to use a drone for this.   Many of the adjusters are not capable of the task.  Maybe some day, but not very soon.

Edit to add:  Many adjusters are somewhat part time workers, many retired farmers, some can learn this, some will not be able to.
