| I still use Dropbox. I know it's discouraged but we don't have issues. Our accountant has all of their customers use DropBox with Quickbooks. There are probably 6 people who have access to and occasionally use my company file.
I have a group text messaging thread with the 4 people who are most likely to use it. We text when we get in and then we text when we get out. When we get out we describe the date, time and file size of the updated company file. Then the next time someone gets in they look at the group text message thread to see if their computer has the most up to date copy and to inform everyone else that they are getting in.
I do think it's wise to back up the company file regularly when employing this method. | |
