NW Tennessee | About 18% of my intended corn acres.
With Rivers as high as they are and MS rising again, a break in a levee that protects several acres on a couple of our farms, and the shape the ground is in from mudding out last year’s beans as the flood waters recede, I expect to file PP on some bean acres as well. But we still have time yet, so the jury’s still out on that.
Edited to add: I’m only drawing 35% on my PP corn acres and will plant it back to beans. Had a couple other fields I could have filed PP corn on, but didn’t want to have to wait until after June 4 to plant in beans.
