De Forest, WI | Does Indiana require a seed sales license and testing for on farm sales? In Wisconsin you don’t need it as long as the seed is off patent, no royalties and you sell from the farm. If you truck it then you need a license and testing.
I have sold it from the farm in the past in totes and bags and people have no problem coming to pickup. Makes it more profitable too. | |
