Subject: RE: Treating soybeans?

Lancaster, OH
Normal June, maybe naked but we still have a lot of wet soils that are staying wet and that can foster disease.

Also, bean leaf beetles are out so either treat or spray.

Wish I still had it but I had an account in Monroe, IN that did two seed treatment plots--one in late April, and one, due to extended wet weather, in late June. The seed that had fungicide/insecticide/inoculant won both locations (there were 12 different treatment combinations and naked in each one) and the yield advantage was the most in the late plot. Early, it was a 2 bushel advantage and, late, it was a 5 bushel advantage compared to naked soybeans. These plots were both in Rockford, OH.
