| I remember having pigs in dirt yards and farrowing in pens, yeah the "good" old days. Now they are in modern confinement. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the average pig has a way better life now. This stuff is an isolated incident and happens to a very small fraction of a percent of the animals. I'd venture to guess you'd be mortified if you really knew what happens on the picture perfect mom and pop farms when you're not there. I could walk in 100 confinement barns today and probably not see abuse either, but people don't sneak into grandpa's tie stall dairy to "undercover videotape".
