Not sure where you are dreaming up this info.......Just stating when the owner and family was doing everything, things were different, it's put as simply as that. And yes, in time I personally believe the industry will revert backwards, things like this, consumers more mindful of how the production end is handled(think cage free eggs for example) and outside factors of having large numbers of animals in one location and a bio security problem and the damages that could cause will change things. When that will happen who knows, but I think sooner or later it will.

In reality, back in those days there weren’t cameras in barns and you have no idea how owners treated their cows. I seriously doubt it was all just rainbows all the time like you remember.

If the industry reverts in a big way, it’ll likely expatriate at the same time.
