NW Iowa | Have had our cows out on pasture for a while now and have been giving them dry mineral (steakmaker) and mineral salt blocks since we let them out. Friend of mine says he can get a little discount on lick tubs through the local elevator if he gets enough guys in the deal to buy in bulk. Sounds like hes going to have enough guys, question is what is some of the more important nutrients you guys are wanting in a lick tub/salt block for pairs that are on pasture only? The lick tubs my buddy is offering are called Ranchers Choice lick tubs.
