+1......that was my point I was making on the other board.....when you milk the cows, stay up all night with a heifer because of a potential delivery issue, take a sick calf into the warm house basement in the winter, etc. you have a better appreciation for everything, take care of it, and respect it. That is lost with these big operators and the chain of command, because even if the higher ups care, the grunts doing the work might not.
You guys are choosing strange bedfellows if you’re siding with the animal activists to throw your own industry under the bus in regard to videos like this. The people that produce these (and they are produced, they don’t just happen) aren’t advocating going back to family scale dairies. They want animal ag eliminated, period. You are cutting off your nose to spite your face by siding with the activists.
