| Both wife and myself have iPhone 5s which I purchased used mint and unlocked. They do work with 4G LTE and up until yesterday were still supported by the Apple iOS upgrades. Two weeks ago I looked at upgrading my wife's phone, again used & unlocked, and found the 7s and 8s are a jump in price from the 6s. So I purchased an iPhone 6s Plus which still fits in the Apple iOS upgrades. It's an unlocked model A1634. SIM card moved from one phone(5s) to the other(6s) and she's up and running. We use the low frills H2O Wireless pay-as-you-go plan as our phones are primarily emergence use only talk & text. Take a good look at the 6s and 6s Plus before you decide on the 7 or 8. Since my phone has to fit in my pocket while farming I prefer the smaller 5s size which I believe is still the same size as the newer iPhone SE. In the future I might have to get larger pants ;>) | |
