North Central Illinois | I think it's a bit more than 100 miles, but I still much appreciate your feedback. I think the best solution would be a district project, but I'm still not too optimistic. This year might change a few minds though. If not, I see my way to my own main within 5 years.
As I have been examining things the way they are now, I can improve a couple bad areas with a few surface drains. At least then I can concentrate the bad into one area instead of a bunch of pockets.
I would appreciate some nicer weather, but in the big picture, I have a great life and a great family. Today was a big setback, as we got 2" overnight after mudding in the highest driest corn acres. Forecast going forward looks a lot better though. | |
