| Start baling when the hay is down below 50% its a method that you cant wrap dry hay, 25% to 40% is ideal, when you start feeding wrapped hay over 50% your yard and pens get pretty wet, also a lot harder on baler and equipment hauling all that moisture in the bales, of course there are times were weather is chasing you and to save a field you must go ahead and bale if moisture is not ideal. As long as you use a premium wrap and do at least 6 wraps or more you will be good . | |
