Yea--we used to have a cargo props from the local AFB come over just above the tree tops. Scarred the crap out of me several times. They used to run with the side door open and most times you could see men looking out or sitting on the edge of the doorway. Lot of time you would not hear them until the shadow went across you. This was before we had cab tractors.
