I try to keep a mix of legumes and grasses in all pastures and in hay fields.

After moving the wire as pictured above I mowed some hay. Fresh cut hay is one of the sweetest smells. Some pics of hay mowed yesterday, first of the year.



Is this a total mix you plant or do you drill the legumes into existing sod/pasture? Looks awesome Jim!
