NW IN | The weather has sucked this spring. Nothing has been easy to get done. Every decision has been out of phase...right, wrong, who knows.
Probably could have planted beans yesterday. Have 30 acres of hay down. My disk is stuck in the mud. Saw a few planters roll late yesterday, but I had to make a decision.
I watched my daughter compete for and win a state championship in discus. I didnt stress about the farm. I went and cheered and hugged and shed some tears of joy. Best day....ever!!!
Had a mentor in farming tell me 22 years ago that the best crop I'd ever raise would be my children. He was right. Thank you, Jim, for that a advice. Rest In Peace my friend.
Hug your kids, take a deep breath, and remember God has a plan for all of us.
