Subject: RE: Discbine swivel hitch vs Clevis hitch?

Central Western VA Mountains
I have a Krone 2801cv mower conditioner with 2pt hitch and swivel gearbox. It is very nice going around turns with no PTO chatter. These things are heavy on the hitch too. Putting the load on the lift arms is nice if you have a smaller tractor.

Our tractors don’t have lift arm extensions, nor do we have quick hitches (yet), so sometimes getting aligned to mount the mower can be a pain, but no worse than hooking up any other implement. Dropping a pin would be nice, but I think the benefits of the swivel out weigh the handyness of a clevis and pin.
