What do you use for stirring the pack? We are using sawdust in our packs for dry cows and heifers now since straw prices increased. If i dig a few inches down in the pack the sawdust is dry qnd reasonably clean. If i slid the shanks in on a corn cultivator, cut it down to 7 or 8 feet, and mounted it on a skidloader plate would that work for stirring? Do you reduce bedding usage enough to justify the time spent?
