near dyersville iowa | the only real problem i have with baleage..is the amount of work that goes into a short period of time. I work by myself. So..to do baleage i have to hire someone to at least wrap, if not haul. Wrapping works best if you can wrap less than 24 hours after you bale. For me, working off the farm..if i bale one afternoon, id have to haul late into the night..and wrap the next afternoon. If i dry bale, i can leave the bales out for a day or two if i cant get them home right away. Wrapping makes for a couple late nights in a row. | |
