Butler County,Iowa | Agree. National yield is gonna scare traders. They been so complacent expecting same high yields for last few years. This will be an eye opener. Not only major reduced acres...but also a huge drop in the average. The progress report even if higher is gonna be a little erroneous because some of the conditions that the crops were planted into are not gonna conducive of trend line.
Any crops I have planted into wet muddy soils struggled all year and never produced yields as good as where I had good seed to soil contact.
