I have no personal experience with this but I have seen post before on this. Maybe try a search. I wonder if running that aluminum foil type tape for sealing HVAC duct along the tube would do it. Connect with a wire as suggested maybe using a hose clamp. Some folks are way more sensitive to electricity than others. My dad (may he RIP) used to check circuits with his fingers, sometimes on 110 he would say “can’t feel anything” then lick his fingers “ya there it is” At the local wholesale club my wife doesn’t care for my pace as the cart pusher. Told me she has to keep her hands on the plastic that covers the top half of the handle. She says otherwise whenever it is moving she is getting shocked by static. After she said something I did notice the same thing ever so slightly on my bare forearm when I pushed the cart.
