Trent I have a bean planter that has 7000 row units that we have had several different down pressure setups. Was haveing row units that were “ laying over”. I couldn’t see an obvious bend . After further examination it turned out tha the lower parallel link arms were twisted. The tube that holds the two flat irons together is only 1/8 wall. I have heard of the steel in the side of the shank cracking and the disk axial sheering off. I took the lower parallels , cut them apart and replaced the tube with heavier tube. 7200 row units have cast lower arms
