Actually that is not quite right..

72 nozzles gives you 71 x 20" spaces between nozzles = 1420" = 118.3 ft center to center end nozzles.

nozzles are designed to overlap 100%. so the end nozzle is only applying 1/2 product to outside 10" on the outside end of sprayer, total spray pattern is 120ft. Booms are typically not ran at the perfect height on an SP sprayer (unless its a PT with fixed boom height) so the end nozzles spray a bit further than 10" and you get some overlap on the next pass to get back to full rate coverage.


Your math is wrong. That's like saying a 16 row planter only covers 37'6".
