Depends how much it slides down the hill. When hanging behind a tractor on a steep slope a 90 foot sprayer may only be 40 feet wide then. Otherwise a one foot overlap shouldn't cause skips on your fields.

The bigger issue is getting the measurements and timing right so you don't turn on late or turn off early. Looking at your post again it looks like you are going to do that manually on a rate controller?
