You are low on freon, recharge and go.
Yes, add Freon and watch for compressor discharge line to get hot and low side pressure to come up to a normal range. I tend to charge until return line sweats or to about 25 psi with engine at fast idle, about 1/2 to 2/3 governed rpm, door open, fan on high, temp to cold.
If there is a sight glass on the dryer or liquid line somewhere, charge with cab doors closed, fan on high, temp to cold until you get rid of most of the frothy bubbles and get just some small ones left. If it's really cool in there, you might get rid of them all and charge to a clear glass but don't get low side pressure up in the 30's to do it.
