Beresford, SD | Suggestion. Review the market structure (corn, feeders, fats) of 1996. Feel it could be a repeat. High priced feed, feeders and fats invert. The true losers in this event could be our cow/calf producers. If I was a cow calf man in the west.....I’d plan on figuring a way to hold crop over winter and make yearlings, feeling the calf market this fall is going to be a wreck.....especially the heavy weight bawlers. | |
