It might be a private option only offered by some companies. We buy extra months for the spring price with ours.

Have you looked into the Margin Protection? It is federal so it's subsidized. The option to buy extra months is an unsubsidized private product.
The Margin Protection has a price discovery period several months earlier than the RP price discovery period. The nice thing about that is, the market has more "carry" in it during that farther out price discovery period.
