Osakis, MN | Not a chance of planting this weekend here, fields totally waterlogged here, standing water everywhere. What we have left were barely drying out before way too much rain this week. I don't have one field that I could or would drive an ATV across right now without getting stuck I'm afraid. Monday the weather man said this morning a chance for another 1-2" more and rain chances four or five days of next week. I don't personally think any descent progress will be made here without a week straight of nice weather. It's super saturated right now.
There will be a few fields here and there that might dry up quicker in the neighborhood, but those are going to be few and far between.
Lots of acres left to plant in this area and it's not localized, I'd say we have been lucky to get as much in as we have. | |
