East Central Ia, S. Waterloo
I had the chance to pick up a little Wallenstein 4" PTO chipper, I use it on a Ford 23 hp. I use it mostly to chip fence line trees so I don't have to drag them off. It will chip 4" but pulls down the tractor at that size and obviously needs to fit the branches through the chute into the throat. I think it could easily chip a small truck load in a day, maybe half a day if your tree was prepped but you would need help to work in shifts cause it is work. Plus mine is manual feed and rips the branches in, hard on hands and arms, not that I don't feel safe just more of the vibration.
As a plus you can make your own smoking chips. I had an apple tree go down, now I've got a lifetime supply of applewood chips, one small hickory limb made about a 2yr supply.
