I have a Bandit 16”. I would suggest renting one for a day, even if it is a trailer one with its own engine. Figure a out 60% of size for normal chopping. A 9” would be less than 5” branches. It’s work, my kids hate the chipper. 3pt chippers can be hard to find. Vermeer made a nice 9” 3pt chipper. No longer in production. Bandit makes a nice 12 and 16” chipper in 3 pt. I might not use for year then for 6 months chip like a fool.
