Ok i am baffled. I checked my oil tonight, i changed it around 3000 miles ago. I pulled out the dipstick and the oil looks about brand new. Its rotella as always. I change every 5k. Is usually black at this mileage same as every other diesel engine i have ever owned. I was thinking maybe the oil is real low and this is just residual oil in the tube, but i checked it about 7 times tonight and its always the same. It does not smell like diesel fuel either. Weird.
