Long, I think something else that's going through most heads in IL is N and Chems are on. I think that will discourage much switching here. The consensus here in NE IL is plant corn till the 15th. Basis is decent now, will tighten plus gain in prices due to lower yield. There will be a lot of E-plants, train loaders and shipping containers looking for corn that have gotten used to big crops out of this part of the country.

My Dad hasn't seen anything like this in the Land that Jesus walked. I'm a young guy still and remember years planting corn in June, but it's never been anything quite like this. There will be PP here.... I've only seen 80 acres PP in my lifetime




If as much pp happens. Your gonna see some big changes happen at chem facilities,elevators,etc,etc. I've been told their are some elevators hurting now. I did talk too one elevator that's moving barge loads of corn now. They said they will stop moving corn in a second. Theirs gonna be alot of hurting going on.
