It looks like storms are breaking up over NE IL where I’m located. If we miss rains tonight tomorrow and Sunday (still have a 50%+ chance for the next 7 Days)we could mud things in and go around ponds maybe Sunday afternoon or Monday. For a minute I started to get bearish. Then I realized it’s Memorial Day weekend and my area is 5% done at best and we’re talking MUDDING and going around ponds. There is the slightest chance it all gets planted but a 0% chance we will have 240 bushel corn or 70 bushel beans that we have been blessed with the last several years. And the wetter 10% of acres won’t get planted regardless of rainfall in the next 10 days. PP may not be 10 million acres but I highly doubt a 170 yield. May not be a 2012 scenario but bard to imagine we have made our highs.
