| So from your reply I’m guessing she was going in a straight line and had your passenger not been rubbernecking you never would have known the lady was on her phone? Also from your description she was passing you so defensive driving 101 would say to tap your brakes and let her by. That first time she leaves her lane line would be a mute point if you slowed to let her pass. And since you want to be tic tacky about it you should slow when anyone is passing you; never know when a tire on their vehicle could blow, a tie rod could fail, or the entire hub assembly fails from lack of grease sending a tire and wheel one way and and out of control vehicle the other.
I stand behind my prior statement, if she was driving erratically then you had every right to turn her in. If she wasn’t, you’re the reason for tinted windows. | |
