Western Iowa | I wouldn't be a bit scared of reselling one as long as you can at least load it. If you can move it to the new buyers place (within reason) you will likely hold your money together just fine.
I wouldn't mess with a used one. When I went to the yard to get a couple, the 8 or so year old ones were actually 12-13 years old and although just fine to use, had most of the goodie out of them, dents and rust that in a few years would likely be holes.
I ended up buying a couple of 'one trippers'. One for me and one for a buddy. No regrets.
