Subject: 4840 John Deere engine oil cooler on left side leaking on drain tubes.



Southeast Colorado
Going to pull that apart and change the O-rings on the drain tubes. Is there enough room to get the tubes removed by just taking the bolts out of the bottom piece or do you have to remove the piece above on the cooler itself which would drain the anti freeze? I'm asking because the dealer is going to have to order the gasket if I need to do that. They didn't think I need to but it looks to me about impossible to get the tubes out without removing the top. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
