Subject: RE: Deere planter hydraulic drive

Eastern Arkansas
I’m running three planters with them. We usually run them back through the block just for convenience, but this year on a different tractor we could not get the motors to run fast enough could just get 3mph before it maxed out. Ended up switching the T hose to dump straight in the rearend and it works fine now.

Also, there is a set screw that holds the shaft for the RPM sensor. Make sure the screw is tight. We spent half a day pulling our hair out because the motor would go to full speed then stop planting.
