The first couple posters may be right. I'd reword how you're thinking this and doing this. I assume your relationship with your dad is good. Maybe work out some kind of incentive lease or flex lease that accomplishes the financial goals you and your dad wanted originally, while also still remaining eligible for any govt payments.
