Richardson county Nebraska | I think the key word in your title is used. I agree that color is just that today, performance and creature comforts are all similar. Support and having a dealer you can trust are the key. When buying used the prior owner has already taken the hit on resale. I agree that when comparing apples to apples the red,yellow,blue ones are attractive buys compared to green. Just don’t forget that when you go to trade the next time you will be on the low end of that deal, where now you are green and have made the investment. In 81 dad bought a new 2-135 white, was 13k cheaper than 4440, it left the farm in 2008, the white was at that point a 20k dollar less than the Deere. So if you end up owning for 20+ years the Deere may not cost that much more.
