| I don't disagree. And I get the life is unfair part. Just trying to understand which commodity is getting screwed the worst based on yesterday's announcement. It would seem we are being asked to plant without regard to the payment, and then find out in July if we made the right choice. And then be happy about it if we didn't because "life isn't fair". Yeah, I'd rather get paid by the market than the gov't. too. And I don't like what brought us to this point. But as long as net income remains near a 20 year low, and the payment is close to 25% of income for some crops...it matters. | |
