Windom, MN | We've had our door for about 10 years. It doesn't get used a lot, but the opener has developed an issue. When I push the button to run the pump, it just hums and kicks out the breaker. The motor gets extremely hot. I did change the fluid in the door opener a few years ago and used hy-Tran that we use in the tractors.
Is my opener shot? Is it capacitor related? We just changed those out last year, had a guy come do it and not sure which ones he changed. Dad took care of that project. Do i just get a new pump? I see a lot of manufacturers ise a different setup than this, so wondering if this is a junk opener.
