EC SoDak | Yeah, it’s weird saying that as we are record cold and wet, but it’s a global thing as well. Global/regional air temps and ocean temps are what drive moisture amounts and where they go. Kind of like when SoCal gets an atmospheric river/pineapple express, ocean temps and jet stream.
We also, on average have longer growing seasons than before, which means you tend to get more moisture in the atmosphere earlier and later in the year. | |
