Why? What would be the advantage? Would you be a buyer if it had the C18? The 610 is rated at 605hp with a bulge to 650hp. Not enough power? Versatile has had a long term relationship with Cummins. I doubt that they see much advantage to confusing the issue with another engine supplier. Support would be another problem. Our local Versatile dealer is Cummins certified for a long time. Getting Cat to co-operate even on supporting the transmission has been a challenge for the dealer.
