ECIL
Wanting to try a track machine and have came across a 2015 550DT. Less than 2000 hours. Farm is all Deere, but haven't had the best luck with our last couple 4wds so we are looking to go a different route. I have read the 15L Cummins is a reliable motor that makes tons if power and torque, also that the Cat powershift transmission is the best there is. Would also consider a Steiger quadtrac if I can be convinced they are better. Honestly just want something basic and reliable... it pulls a disk ripper in the fall and a large field cultivator in the spring.

If we go take a look at the tractor what do we need to be on the lookout for? What is the general consensus of these
tractors? Thanks.
