Weren’t there some major planting delays in Indiana, Ohio, or some where like that the last 2 years and the pace was maybe 80% by June 1 and we were all mad there was no rally over it and then they planted like June 20 and we still had a record crop both years? I know 2 years ago I was with an adjuster that had been east and he said he couldn’t believe the corn market hadn’t rallied from what he saw. I don’t remember the states that were behind or the percentage but we still had record crops and that’s playing into my marketing mind even though I agree with you this could be a huge deal in the end
Yes. I know of some corn planted in early June of2017 that made 249 |
