If you're not worried about what it looks like, I'd say just run with your steel wheels. That being said, I put a set of aluminum outsides on our old truck and had to put longer wheel studs to be able to do it. But, I was getting tired of painting wheels every year. I don't care if I have the best looking stuff out there, but I am kind of anal about keeping things in good cosmetic shape.
