Subject: from a economic standpoint steel to aluminum semi rims

central iowa
Does it make sense to spend money to only gain what i figure is 100# to change out inside steel wheels for aluminum wheels??

From a pure weight savings I cannot make it make sense, but does the rotating mass of the heavier rims have some long term effects that aluminum may help with???? Any other reason to spend the money to change them that I might be missing??

vanity is not a big deal here lol, so how it looks with rusty steel wheels on the inside doesn't really bother me.

Thanks
