Have you ever gone through a PP situation? Not sure that $50/acre is such a cavalier number to say it will not matter. It will most defiantly change the economic decisions going forward and whether or not PP is taken or soybeans are planted instead to qualify for the MFP. If all of the sudden a few million less acres are PP then the market will have to adjust. So no its not childish or just complaining driving this, it is true market decisions that will need to be made. This is less of a keep planting corn scenario and more of a lets plant more beans vs PP corn.
