Need help with getting a cat 3208 back running right. It smokes white smoke real bad and has no power. Just put in all 8 new injector pencil nozzles. No change in the way it’s running. What’s next to look into? Thanks for reading, and for any input.
Injection pumps on those old girls were always an issue as I recall. I never really worked on them, but we had a guy in the shop who was an expert, and it almost always seemed he was doing something with the IP. White smoke and low power sounds like a timing issue, but if it were me, I'd take it to someone who knows these engines. |
