Just take it easy, not running it to the max will reduce strain on the drives. Guy I help has a "belt breaker" operator, no matter which combine they put him in, he can usually go through a rotor belt per season. He gets more done, although I am pretty sure the small gain in productivity is not worth the extra upkeep costs.
+1. Those belts don't look all that bad to me, but I don't like to push my combine to the max. I also know of operators that routinely tear separator belts every year on 9X00/10 JD combines. I've been running the same separator belt now for 6 years and counting. A lot of this stuff comes back to operator style/error.
